Combining real fifteenth-century history with contemporary tabloid-style news coverage, this fictitious magazine issue showcases strong storytelling techniques. This piece acted as an educational study in texture, composition, and shadows and how they all mixed together. It was a fun project to work on, always finding more space for details I could add and fine tune.
Melding my passion for astronomy into my creative process inspires pieces such as this one, Jupiter, The Great Red Spot. Pulling inspiration from old films such as Flight to Mars and Creature from the Black Lagoon This earlier poster from 2023 showcases my dilettantish comprehension of style recognition and replication in parody.
